Pamela S. Cooper, M.B.A
QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor® for Funeral Homes
Pamela S. Cooper, M.B.A. has been helping funeral home owners with their accounting and financial needs since 1984. As a former funeral home co-owner and coupled with an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Pam understands the funeral home profession.
Pam currently works with funeral home owners from Maine to Texas. Being a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor, she spends a great deal of time training and educating her funeral home clients on how to use and maintain an effective QuickBooks’ accounting system. Her main goal is to train funeral directors on how to turn QuickBooks into a real-time funeral home information system.
Pam began her career in public accounting in 1980 as an intern with the then “Big Eight” accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. After graduating from Florida State University with a B.S. in finance, she ventured into the banking industry. She worked in the banking industry until co-purchasing the Wilson-Cooper Funeral Home in Kittery, Maine.
Outside the office, Pam is active in her community. Currently, she serves on the New Hampshire Veteran’s Cemetery Board and is treasurer of the Andover Historical Society. She also volunteers as an accountant at The Andover Beacon, a local community newspaper. She enjoys gardening, quilting and genealogy. She lives with her husband, Ron, on a farm in Andover, NH.
